When I became a mother, I had the privilege of support women who helped care for my home and my children. But as I got to know them, I began to see a different side of their lives. Many of them were single mothers or women raising children on their own, often without any real support.
They were strong, hardworking, and determined. Every day, they showed up not just for work, but for their children. They were doing everything they could to give them a better life.
That stayed with me.
What started as small, personal acts of support helping a woman grow her small business, giving someone a little boost to keep going became something I couldn’t ignore. For over 10 years, I’ve continued to support women in my community, sometimes quietly, sometimes through partnerships with other organizations.
